> Sarah Davies, Housing Consultant
 Sarah is a Housing Consultant with DCL and holds an honours degree in Social Policy and Administration as well as a PG Diploma Housing Studies. She is a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and is experienced in various aspects of tenant consultation and engagement at a strategic and local level. She is a qualified PRINCE 2 Practitioner and has managed several successful projects including stock acquisition and the implementation of improvements plans to increase quality and performance delivery.
Prior to Docherty Consulting, Sarah worked for a North London Borough as a Senior Resident Involvement Officer developing the services provided by the Resident Involvement Team. She is particularly experienced in developing Neighbourhood Agreements and consultation plans at a local and organisational level. She has worked on various stock transfer and regeneration schemes in some of London’s most challenging estates in Islington, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Haringey.
Sarah has particular experience in:
- Housing and regeneration policy;
- Community and stakeholder engagement;
- Policy review and development;
- Neighbourhood and estate regeneration;
- Consultation with under represented community groups;
- Resident training and capacity building;
- Staff training and coaching; and
- Organising and facilitating consultation events.
Experience Includes:

Development and implementation of a new borough wide Resident Involvement Agreement (Compact) for a North London Borough;

Lead Consultation Officer for a multi-tenure estate refurbishment programme for a large housing association;

Devised and delivered a series of training session for staff on tenant participation and consultation after carrying out a review of existing practices;

Developed a Local Neighbourhood Agreement as part of a New Deal for Communities (NDC) programme; and
-
Conducted a consultation exercise as part of a large Stock Options Appraisal process which successfully engaged with various community groups and non-English speakers.
