Moredun, EdinburghWe have worked extensively on private housing issues often as part of regeneration initiatives. This work has included acting as lead consultant with responsibility for negotiating with owners as part of a mixed tenure major improvement programme and advising on the impact of mixed tenure on over 30 stock transfer transactions in Scotland and England.

We have also been appointed as lead consultant and project manager on a number of large regeneration projects; with lead responsibility; from inception and master-planning, through business planning, developer and contractor procurement to site start. We have also ensured successful transitions through the different project stages resulting in large complex housing construction projects being delivered successfully.

Dunedin Canmore Housing Association Mixed Tenure Advice and Negotiation
Business Strategy Consultant to Dunedin Canmore Housing Association in respect of a successful competitive submission to acquire stock and manage a large housing regeneration project. Retained as lead advisor and negotiator on mixed tenure issues resulting in a successful financial outcome and all dwellings refurbished to a high standard.

Falkirk Council Regeneration Approach
Lead consultant to Falkirk Council on the preparation, funding and delivery of a major regeneration project involving demolition, replacement and improvement of housing stock and the provision of new community assets. The approach was adopted by the Council and applied successfully in other areas.

Moat Housing Group Stock Transfer
Project Director at Moat Housing Group for a successful 1500 unit stock transfer, involving the setting up of a receiving subsidiary housing association.

East Thames Group Housing Regeneration
Strategic Advisor to East Thames Group on the planning and delivery of a major housing regeneration project in London Docklands involving the vacation, demolition and new build of a 1970’s estate. Construction value is circa £60m.

London Borough of Tower Hamlets Regeneration Project Management
Project Manager on a large urban regeneration initiative at Crossways, east Londonfor London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Services included; design team procurement, business planning, developer/contractor procurement, lead consultant on stock transfer.
